Using DS Blocks maintains the quality of plasterboards, as it does not leave any marks, cracks or breaks on the plasterboard.

DS Blocks are built with a compression that can compensate the weight of stacked products. The flexibility of the DS Block gives the stacked products a huge tolerance to weight and prevents the product from breaking as it can happen when no tolerance to weight is allowed. The DS Blocks allow a margin to the weight of your products without breaking or damaging your product.

Tests show excellent performances:

DS block with the following measures: length = 115cm, width = 5cm and height = 7cm

Compression of the DS Blocks happens uniformly; this means that the DS Block will be compressed evenly on the surface.

For a maximum compression of 3mm and the usage of 3 DS Blocks the holding weight capacity is 20,803,5kg

With 3 DS Blocks: Length x Width x Amount of DS blocks x contrainte soir = 115 x 5 x 3 x 12,06 = 20 803,5 kg of weight that is accepted with a compression of not more than 3mm

With 5 DS Blocks: Length x Width x Amount of DS blocks x contrainte soir = 115 x 5 x 5 x 12,06 = 34 672,5 kg of weight that is accepted with a compression of not more than 3mm

For a maximum compression of the DS Blocks of 5mm we get the following results:

With 3 DS Blocks: Length x Width x Amount of DS blocks x contrainte soir = 115 x 5 x 3 x 16 = 27 600 kg of weight that is accepted with a compression of not more than 5mm

With 5 DS Blocks: Length x Width x Amount of DS blocks x contrainte soir = 115 x 5 x 5 x 16 = 46 000 kg of weight that is accepted with a compression of not more than 5mm

In the graph below you can see the compression capability of DSBlocks, for example for a load of 30.05kg/cm2, the DS Block would be distorted by 10.81 mm up to a maximum tested compression of 36.48mm for 150.07 kg/cm2.

Moreover, the DS Blocks are dry and flat and can be glued to the plasterboards, which is safer for transport as everything stays in place. An automation of this process is also possible. DS Blocks have a fine paper film on top that prevents damage on the plasterboard or your product and allows to glue efficiently. Only a few grams of glue are needed to give your products even more transport safety without damaging your products.
